This guide explains how to manage users within Wiresk, including how to create, deactivate, and assign users to groups. User management is available to Admin accounts on the Pro Plan or higher.
Create a user Copy Link
- Select your profile > Admin settings.
- select “Users” tab.
- Select “+ Create” button, the settings panel appears.
- Please enter the user’s information.
- The email address provided must be valid, as it will be used to send a link for setting up their password.
- Select the group that the user will have access to.
- Define the user’s role permission template: Dev or Admin (Access & permissions will change accordingly).
- Defining the group permission for a user as “admin” will grant them full authority over the group.
- Customize the access & permissions.

- Finish the process by selecting “Create” button.
An email will be sent to the user with a link to set up their password. Once completed, they will be able to log in.
Deactivate a user Copy Link
Users cannot be deleted from Wiresk, but they can be deactivated.
- Navigate to your profile > Admin settings.
- Select the users tab.
- In the users list, switch the active button to deactivate the user.

What Happens:
• The user will no longer be able to log in.
• Their account remains in the system for historical tracking (e.g., audit logs).
• Their access to all resources is revoked immediately.

Add user to Groups Copy Link
Groups control access to specific assets, including:
• Flows (webhooks, routing keys, schedulers)
• App connections
• API keys

- Navigate to your profile > Admin settings.
- Select the “Users” tab.
- Choose a user in the list to assign a group.
- In the settings panel, select the “Assign” button.

On the Assign Group settings:
- Select the group that the user will have access to.
- Define the user’s role permissions template: Dev or Admin (Access & permissions will change accordingly).
- Defining the group permission for a user as “admin” will grant them full authority over the group.
- Customize the access & permissions if needed.
- Select the “Saved” button.

Repeat the process to add the user to many groups.
Remove users from a Group Copy Link
You can either:
● Remove many users from a group, via the group settings. see groups management.

- Navigate to your profile > Admin settings.
- Select the users tab.
- Choose a user in the list to remove from a group.
- In the settings panel, select the “Trash” button.
- Confirm the deletion.

Repeat the process to remove the user from many groups.
